Founded by Stanley Sessions, the company provided fresh meat products throughout the local area.
Once the business was established Stanley’s wife (Maisie) joined and oversaw all the administration after many years in the catering industry running pubs.
In 1978 Stanley’s son (Graham Sessions) joined after carrying out a management training programme with Woolworths and the company was incorporated as a limited company.
Shortly following this, Stanley and Graham took over a larger retail premises in Kidderminster and traded there for a number of years before expanding the business into the wholesale market with the company taking on a small production facility for their sausage manufacturing department.
For many years the wholesale units and retail units worked together hand in hand, however in the late 1980’s, Stanley and Graham took over much larger premises with a bespoke production facility and specialist catering butchery.
In the mid 1980’s, sadly Stanley passed away and Graham took over as Managing Director working closely with his mom until she passed away some years later.
Graham’s daughter (Kate) joined the company in 2011 after a successful career as a qualified accountant with a wealth of experience working with a wide range of companies and exposure across many industry sectors (particularly manufacturing).
Together they ran the company until Graham’s retirement in 2017 after which Kate took the reins as Managing Director and continues to run the company today with the same passion as her father and grandfather before her.
Today the company has a bespoke production facility, specialist catering butchery and are able to provide a wide range of other ambient foodservice products.
The company now supplies a wide range of catering establishments within a 100 mile radius from our fleet of temperature controlled vehicles, however offer wholesale deliveries to sites nationally.
As an FSA approved manufacturing plant, we are also able to offer full SALSA and STS accreditation.
